    Does anyone know if there would be some kind of record about
    when and how many times we have spoken to the IIO.

    Like will a IIO be able to look at one's receipt# and say if they have spoken to an IIO earlier that day or whenever that is?

    Well, Not sure on this, I'm just guessing there should definitely be a process for the IIO to logs the converse/update somewhere for a cases he is attending too and it will be available for other IO's too, if you have any followup's and call again.

    not possible. Many documents in first 2 phases are companies. Its is illegal if employee is involved Labor process in any way.

    Find someone who will file H1 for you next year and apply for GC....

    Complete your profile first. How come your GC is not approved if your PD is Nov'02 with EB-2 India....Is your I-140 approved and I-485 pending for more than 180 days? If so, it doesn't matter if your employer revokes I-140, you will be covered under AC21, provided you have another job offer in a same/similar position.

    I graduated in MS (I'm on H4 currently) recently.My previous degree is from India (passed out BCOM in 1999). I dont have any IT experience.

    I'm talking with couple of companies about getting a H1. What documents I need to show for H1 for USCIS? Do I need to show any experience to USCIS?

    My wife is on a contract jod to another city and now I get this FP notice which is scheduled in the city I reside. is it possible to reschedule it to another location. On the Notice itself there is an option to reschedule is to another time but not to another location

    USCIS denied my and my family's 485 based on withdrawl of old pending 140.

    How did you come to know about your denial. Did they send a denial notice after you applied for EAD. Was there any status change on the USCIS website after your 140 was revoked by employer.

    Hi,
    I am trying to find health insurance for my spouse who is in H4 visa.

    Could you please let me know if I can buy the health insurance only for her? Is there some law which states H1B visa holder also needs to buy the health insurance along with the spouse?

    BTW, I am living in NJ.

    Appreciate, your inputs and pointers on this issue.

    I guess the new law requires you to have a health insurance...please check the new law which came into effect last week.

    If you get laid off, hopefully you have enough years on your initial 6 yr H1 to work with another employer an apply for a new labor and get back on track.

    Hi, I just joined the group. Is there anything scheduled so far?
    I also have an immigration question.
    My employer filed the PERM with EB-2 in September 2007. It was audited in November. Still waiting. I have the fear I could get laid off. If this will happen before the Labor Department approval, and before the 1-year renezaw of my H1-B (exp. Sept.08), what will happen? Do I loose everything?

    It sound so weird that the GC holders you mentioned dont want to register. Sweet! Tell them that by registering on IV, their GC will not be revoked.

    Its good to hear that GC holders are also willing to help us. Have them register on our site and request them to make phone calls. If you know US citizens tell them too. Tell them to mention that they are US citizens when they call lawmakers.

    The storage silo (that modern building in the center of the photo) seems a little out of place. Also, on my display the contrast doesn't seem great - the colours seem a little flat.

    one can take scholarship on H4. Can not accept any kind of employment.
    No need to inform USCIS.
