It's very painful to deal with these guys at times.
I also tried asking a finance broker about this and never heard back...
Have you tried apporaching another bank or some broker ?
(I was intrested to know if the can do a intrest only loan for 125% of current value...I would think no.....but perhaps no one has all the details ironed out yet)

Ask him to do a FOIA and apply for duplicates, it will take atleast 1 year with the current backlog.........

Indian Government sources had said that the Bureau of Diplomatic Security had contacted the ministry of external affairs (MEA), India around the time Mr Pacheco was incarcerated for his alleged involvement in the mysterious death of his girlfriend Nadia Torrado � he was in jail from July 9 till July 26, when he was awarded bail. He is a former Goa, India tourism minister Francisco Xavier �Mickky� Pacheco was caught on the backfoot on Sunday once again as reports surfaced that the US State Department�s Bureau of Diplomatic Security had informed India that Mr Pacheco might be involved in a big immigration and money laundering racket.
Mr Pacheco used to operate an employment agency along with his estranged wife Sara Pacheco which specialized in finding employment for Goans abroad. But according to the former minister, he has had nothing to do with the agency since he separated from his wife around four years back.

Hello All,
I am a silent reader of Immigration voice forum and have got great information about H1B and other related issues on this forum.. Today, I am in dilemma as what to do in following situation and I thought you all will be able to help me by answering my questions. Here I go:
I am on H1B and my wife [on H4] graduated [MS] in Dec'06. Because she completed her MS in Rehabilitation counseling on H4, she does not have OPT to start the work. Now, she has got a job offer from private rehab firm and they are ready to file her H1. I would like to know following:
1. Is she eligible for 20000 MS quota exemption?
2. According to H1B visa reform act of 2004, such exempt applications were allowed to be filed on March 8, 2005 for FY2006. Is this the case for future fiscals as well?
3. If the H1B application is filed by lawyer say on April 1, 2007 in premium processing, can it be approved in 15-20 days i.e say April 15.
3. If she gets the I-797 on April 15, what will be the start date on it? Will that be October 1 or can she get earlier start date i.e. Say April 15, 2007?
The problem is if the visa start date is October 1, 2007 then the employer might not be ready to wait that long.. In that case, what are our options?

When we use the recent I94 (from the H1), do we need to say "were you inspected by an immigration officer?" as "yes"?
The start date for this should be the date of entry at the airport or the start date on the recent I94?
You were inspected by the immigration officer thats how you got the I94, there is no I-94 vending machines out there, atleast that I know of.
Your second question is not clear. Ur Date of Entry is ur start date of the I-94, so whats the question.

My Parents are planning to come to US sometime in th month of Aug 08, and would return back to India in Nov 08. If they want to come back in Jan 09 will that be a problem. What is the time gap that is required for a visitor to re-enter US.

My PD is Dec 2004 EB2 for a future jon offer. I won't be able to start the job until July 2008 as I am still completing my fellowship. I have read somewhere in the past that I can file I485 for this future job as the dates have now become current. Can anyone confirm this and any idea what is the general recommendation for the duration that I have to stay with this employer once I start the job.

Sorry I could not find answer for this question on any of the threads here. can anyone please answer the question below
"Copy of visa page of passport in color " is listed as one of the supporting docs for ead renewal.(in the IV thread on EAD self filing)
Do I need to send the copy of visa stamp even if my stamp has expired and I am working on EAD? (my I-797/I-94 expired too).
Can someone please answer this as I need to apply for ead renewal soon.
I had the same question so i spoke to my lawyer/attorney
she said that it is not necessary
infact in intial eveidence
1) copy of passport or DL or Visa Page or some national Id with picture
2) color photos
3) copy of 485 recipt or EAD
She said most of the attornies/lawyers are asking for extra documentations so that to pre-empt RFEs but she asked me to file with intial evidence that is asked on the instruction form i.e the three items i mentioned above.
I filed with those if they require additional evidence i will comply.

We asked for people to come forward to transcribe the calls. We do not have anyone. I am sure a lot of people waiting for EADs for their spouses will be having well qualified spouses who can volunteer their time. We have lawyers available to be on calls, but people do not even send questions on time when we announce. We organize calls on weekends, and only few people show up. However we get thousands to show up on tracker threads everyday.
We are doing this as a free service to the community. If people do not value it and help us, they can get their own own lawyers and get paid consultation.
We will not be posting recording for people who do not even want to give us a minute and complete their profile so that we can contact them. The service may also be discontinued if members do not see any value in it.

I dont think that holds true. If you follow you'll see they have been approving cases even in December for 2003 when the PD has been retrogressed to 2002 for December.

Hi all,
I submitted an application via premium processing for EB-1a with USCIS at the Texas Premium Processing Centre last month (April 2007).
I received an RFE notification via letter after two weeks listing the requirement of further evidence against 3 out of the 8 criteria I submitted.
I can submit further evidence - but my question is this ... "Why have they not made mention of the other 5 criteria I submitted" ? Has this failed ? Do they not matter ?. I am quite concerned because they have not made any mention of my other criteria ? Does anyone have any advice.
